New online learning programme
The McGrath Group’s extensive online learning programme entitled “Toolbox Talks” provides a wide range of online learning subjects to all employees based at their materials recycling facility (MRF) in Barking.
The most recent topics launched as part of their online learning focus on essential health and safety procedures include ‘Government Guidelines in the Workplace for COVID-19’ and the importance of ‘Near Miss Reporting’.
Each online toolbox talk takes staff members through key areas of information and with digital signing on completion.
All courses are offered in different languages and are easily available via the company’s HR portal enabling employees to carry out this essential training remotely and flexibly to ensure safety within their roles.
Tara Donaghy, Business Director at the McGrath Group said “Offering our learning via these easily digestible and accessible toolbox talks enables our staff to complete their learning efficiently and has proven even more effective in our current climate. This training is integral to ensuring all health and safety standards are adhered to as part of the high levels of service we provide throughout our MRF. We are delighted also to confirm that the rollout and completion of our recent ‘Government Guidelines for COVID-19 in the Workplace’ has contributed to the successful passing of our HSE COVID19 audit.”
