McGrath has been providing the construction and civil engineering sectors in London with waste management recycling services for over 40 years. We have built-up unrivalled knowledge of all construction wastes and the reputation as a leading brand in this discipline.
The McGrath Group’s core value principle has been established upon the premise that waste is a valuable precious resource. Our core value statement is constructed firmly on this foundation. It represents, informs and influences everything that we do.
Client focused service
We acknowledge the importance of achieving, and exceeding, the needs and expectations of our clients. Providing total client satisfaction is a fundamental part of delivering our client focused service and is firmly embedded into all our business activities. We strive to be perceived by our customers as a company whose products, services and support consistently exceed those of our competitors.
For the McGrath Group, client care means providing excellent service in a friendly and efficient way. We will continuously look to improve our products, services and processes using clearly defined methodologies and making data based decisions. We will be professional and positive in our approach and take pride in ensuring that every client interaction is handled in a positive, helpful manner.
We are continuously investing in our people and the latest technology to enable us to deliver the highest quality service. We believe in building long standing trading relationships with our clients and our reputation is an important indicator of our success.
Construction Waste Materials
Our integrated sorting and processing systems are ideal for managing construction waste that, because of limitations on space or time, cannot be segregated at source. Mixed construction wastes are sorted mechanically, manually and magnetically into individual material streams at our Barking based MRF in Greater London. We can also receive waste via the river Thames in London using our wharf waste facilities.
Other construction material streams we manage include:
Concrete & Stone
Mixed Construction & Demolition
Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF)
Timber & Wood
Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment (WEEE)
“McGrath has enabled us to streamline our logistics, minimise our fuel consumption and therefore contribute to one of the Mayor’s key environmental goals to reduce London’s CO2 emissions.”
